Help a pet parent understand your actual setup, from the front door to the place their companion will rest.
Walk through the arrival
Plan where the owner will meet you and how the pet will enter. Check doors, gates and any areas you intend to keep separate. Discuss the introduction to resident animals in advance; do not assume every pet is comfortable sharing a space.
Show the everyday spaces
Photograph the real sleeping area, indoor room and any outdoor space that a visiting pet would use. Keep the images current. Describe stairs, shared areas and limits clearly so the parent can judge the fit for their own pet.
Be clear about your capacity
Decide which animals and routines you can realistically support. Describe time away from home and any other care commitments. If a need is beyond your experience or setup, explain that before accepting the request.
