What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account, join the waitlist or contact support: your name, email address and the preferences you set, such as language, region and currency. When you send a booking request we store the details of that request. We also collect basic technical data — like device type and pages visited — so the site works and stays secure.
Why we collect it
We use your information to run PawHostly: to sign you in, to send your booking requests to hosts and sitters, to keep your account secure and to reply when you contact us. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Analytics is planned for later and will request your consent before it goes live.
How we keep it safe
Your sign-in session is handled with secure, server-side cookies — never stored in your browser's local storage. Exact addresses on listings are protected and only shared after the host approves your request. We limit who on our team can access your data, and we will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. We will handle every request in plain language, and we respond within 30 days.
Contact for privacy requests
Send privacy requests through the Contact page. We will reply from a PawHostly email address. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling sensitive requests, to protect your account.
Questions about this page? Contact us and we will answer in plain language.
