A good first meeting starts with a few good questions.
A profile is a starting point. A conversation helps you understand how a caregiver would handle your pet’s everyday life.

Talk through an ordinary day
Describe meals, walks, rest and time alone. Ask how your pet’s routine would fit around the caregiver’s other commitments. Be specific about the parts that matter most, including nervousness, escape attempts or difficulty with other animals.
Understand the setting
For a stay, ask who else will be in the home, whether other animals will be present and where your pet will sleep. For visits or walks, agree the route, access arrangements and what happens if a key or handoff is delayed.
Agree before committing
Confirm the dates, the service, the full price and the cancellation terms. Discuss whether an introduction in person is appropriate. If either of you is unsure about the fit, take time to resolve it before making an arrangement.
